Videos and summaries from each day of the event can be seen at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nobelbiocare.com\/newyork2013\">www.nobelbiocare.com\/newyork2013<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Several new developments from Nobel Biocare were revealed.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><b>Seamless digital workflow: Patient assessment to final restoration<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Using the online NobelConnect network, Nobel Biocare has developed a new fully-integrated digital treatment workflow for partially edentulous patients that facilitates increased predictability in restorative outcome, reduces treatment costs, shortens timelines, and results in a natural\u2013looking restoration. Fully automated smart fusion technology used in the second-generation NobelProcera 2G Scanner provides a highly accurate surface model scan. The NobelClinician Communicator iPad application assists in patient communication. An iPad-operated OsseoCare Pro drilling unit can be pre-prepared for surgery. Moreover, automated surgery reports are transferred back to NobelClinician for instant documentation.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><b>Regenerative solutions<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The creos xeno.protect membrane, made of biodegradable collagen, is easy to handle and creates a favorable environment for bone regeneration.<\/p>\n<p><b>New Omnigrip abutment<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The new NobelProcera Angulated Screw Channel (ASC) Abutment uses the new Omnigrip interface with a specialized screwdriver makes picking up the screw easier and tightening the screw possible even at an angle.<\/p>\n<p><b>Launch of the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation (FOR)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>FOR is a global initiative established by Nobel Biocare to expand the reach of oral rehabilitation through education and humanitarian efforts. The first \u201cFOR Humanity Award\u201d was presented to Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations, Bertrand Piccard, for his humanitarian work including his efforts with the Winds of Hope foundation.
